Popeyes Is Launching Its First-Ever Dessert Biscuit
Popeyes is well known for its biscuits and chicken sandwiches, which started a fast-food feud. The biscuits, launched in 1983,
have become a Popeyes mainstay. Their appeal is obvious. Warm buttery, salty, and fluffy biscuits are the greatest.
Today is your lucky day if you're a huge admirer of these biscuits and a sweet tooth. Popeyes introduced their first sweet dessert biscuit for spring.
Popeyes launched its Strawberry Biscuits nationally on March 27. Popeyes biscuit dough with "a deliciously sweet strawberry dessert twist"
and creamy icing is the new menu item. Strawberry Biscuits are only available for a limited period, so fans must act fast.
"We are thrilled to introduce the latest culinary creation to our dessert menu, the irresistible Strawberry Biscuits," Amy Alarcon, vice president of culinary innovation
Popeyes' Cinnamon Apple Pie and Blueberry Lemon Cream Cheese Fried Pie will be joined by the Strawberry Biscuits as long as they're available.
The business has previously released filled beignets, more fried pie flavors, and a Strawberry Cheesecake Cup as limited-time desserts.
Popeyes sells Strawberry Biscuits a la carte for $1.79. Prices may vary by location. Two biscuits cost $2.99 and four cost $5.39.
Popeyes also introduced Strawberry Biscuits this week. The Big Box, a 2014 meal offer, will return to the fried chicken chain's menu.
