Start with moist, clean hair. You can wash your hair as usual or thoroughly wet it in the shower to avoid shampooing.
Use a curl-enhancing or anti-frizz product to define and decrease frizz. Spread the product evenly through your hair with fingers or a wide-tooth comb.
Connect the diffuser to your hairdryer. A diffuser distributes drier airflow evenly and gently, eliminating curl disruption and frizz.
Lift the diffuser to your scalp and scrunch it to distribute your hair.
Set your hair dryer to low or medium heat and airflow. High heat and airflow can frizz and damage curls.
Once your hair is mostly dry and your curls are well-defined, you can finish by setting your curls.
If you have a cool shot button on your hair dryer, use it to cool your hair down and set the curls. If not, you can switch your dryer to the cool setting for a moment.
