Drake Pays Ultimate Tribute to Chart Queen Taylor Swift on ‘Scary Hours 3' Track ‘Red Button'

The opening track of 6 God's surprise Scary Hours 3 EP, "Red Button," features Drake's humble appreciation in the lyrics.

The six-song collection, released on Friday (Nov. 17) as part of an expanded edition of his For All the Dogs album, begins with Drizzy's impetuous lyrical tumble tune, which pays tribute to Taylor Swift's chart success.

I only ever rated Taylor Swift. Only one could make me drop the album a little later/ Rest of y'all I treat you like you never made it/

Leave your label devastated/ Even when you pad the stats, period, I never hated "On the Lil Yachty-produced song, he raps to an angelic chorus and a scorched-earth series of scenarios, promising his detractors winter is coming.

Drake released his latest album, For All the Dogs, on Oct. 6, three weeks before Swift released 1989 (Taylor's Version), the latest of her catalog re-records.

Swift released her Midnights album on Oct. 21, while the Drake/21 Savage collaboration album, Her Loss, was delayed to Nov. 4 from Oct. 28.

Drake also takes a shot at Kanye West in a couplet, implying their long-running feud is still ongoing. "Every time that Yeezy call the truce/ He had my head inflated/

Thinking we finally peace it up and get to levitating/ Realized that everything premeditated," Drake says of the disgraced rapper, whose career collapsed last year after he made antisemitic remarks.

When Drake and Ye got together for the "Free Larry Hoover" benefit concert in Los Angeles in 2021, the feud seemed to calm down, but Drizzy took shots at West on "Circo Loco" and "Search & Rescue," which featured Kim Kardashian talking about their split.
