On Thursday, the Vikings announced the signing of former Steelers sixth-round selection and edge rusher Quincy Roche
Roche's first team after Pittsburgh released him in August after a disappointing preseason and training camp.
The New York Giants claimed Roche, the team's sixth-round choice in the 2021 NFL Draft, on waivers after he failed to make training camp.
Roche played all of 2021 and 2022 in New York, recording 25 tackles in 16 games before signing with the Steelers on a reserve/future contract for 2023

He was competing to be the team's fifth outside linebacker, but the team kept only four, with DeMarvin Leal from the defensive line replacing
T.J. Watt, Alex Highsmith, Markus Golden, and Nick Herbig. PFF said that Roche played 39 snaps against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1, special teams in Week 2
and 26 snaps on defense against the Atlanta Falcons in the finale this preseason.
