McDonald's Is Saying Goodbye To Its McCafé Bakery Treats

According to Today, McDonald's just told the public that all three of its McCafé Bakery items will be taken off the menu.

Some of the treats that will soon be gone are the blueberry muffin with crumbly crumbs on top, the cinnamon roll with cream cheese drizzle, and the sugar-glazed apple fritter.

These products have been on the menu since 2020, when McDonald's obtained new bakery items for the first time in over a decade.

Instagram post that broke the news before Today fact-checked it said they will likely be withdrawn by July 15, 2023. A McDonald's USA official explained, "We're always listening to our fans and adjusting our menu based on what they crave."

In other words, many consumers adore these sweet delicacies, but not enough to keep them on the menu. Start the violins.

McDonald's and other businesses provide various dessert alternatives.

You can always try another fast-food chain if you still want a blueberry muffin, cinnamon roll, or apple cobbler.

If you don't mind paying more than you would at McDonald's, you can get a cinnamon roll at Cinnabon. You can order a blueberry muffin from Dunkin' Donuts, Panera Bread, or Starbucks.

if you want an apple fritter, it's likely that your neighborhood bakery sells them. Even though it doesn't have a drive-thru, it's still worth going to.
