Oreo is bringing back a famous limited-edition cookie taste perfect for cozy season just in time for the holidays and colder months.
That's right! The first Hot Cocoa Oreos in years are returning to retailers nationwide. On X (previously Twitter), Oreo announced the reintroduction of the limited edition flavor this week.
The company posted a snapshot of hot cocoa cookies with hot chocolate toppings and teased that they're back on shelves.
These Oreos include marshmallow and hot cocoa cream between two chocolate wafer biscuits. The company released this limited-time taste in 2017, but it hasn't been sold again in years.
Fans are thrilled to see them back in shops. "NEED THESE," X user said about Oreo. "YUM, can't wait to try them," said another.
Local businesses have sold some returned Oreos packets. Oreo guaranteed they will hit shops soon, so fans should keep a watch out.
Soon after they come, grab a pack! Oreo is releasing limited-edition cookies again. Walmart sells Hot Cocoa Oreos for $2.98, but pricing may vary.
Only the newest limited-edition Oreo flavor to return in 2023 is Hot Cocoa. For the first time in eight years, Cotton Candy Oreos returned in May.
These 2015 limited-edition cookies include golden Oreo wafers with a Double Stuf coating of pink and blue cotton candy-flavored crème.
Oreo also temporarily released Red Velvet Oreos last month. Oreo called its red velvet cookies with cream cheese icing crème its "most requested flavor" ever.
