If you're craving chicken nuggets, you might immediately proceed to McDonald's. On the other hand, Taco Bell may not be your first choice.
However, that might change thanks to the fact that along with other new menu items that have been rolled out this year, Taco Bell is now launching "premium" chicken nuggets.
At Taco Bell, beginning on October 12, customers will be able to place orders for Crispy Chicken Nuggets.
But, you must be fortunate enough to reside near one of the 83 Minneapolis locations that will be testing them for a limited time.
In addition to using "real" white chicken meat, Taco Bell's new morsels are marinated in jalapeo buttermilk and served with one of two new dipping sauces.
The first is the Bell Sauce, which contains red chilies, garlic, onions, and tomatoes and has a bit of a bite.
The second option is Jalapeo Honey Mustard, which lives up to its moniker with a sweet, tangy, and slightly spicy flavor.
As for the nuggets themselves, a 5-piece order with one dipping sauce will cost between $3.99 and $4.99 (the exact price will differ by location).
If you're extremely famished, you can purchase a 10-piece order with two sauces for between $6 and $8.99.
If that is within your budget and you are in Minneapolis, you may want to sample Taco Bell's new chicken nuggets today.
